Due to considerable confusion in the drinks industry over who is liable for intrastat submission, we have compiled a document which simplifies the explanation.

This document is specifically for the drinks trade and we have also added comments regarding acquisition VAT. The document has been submitted to Customs & Excise for approval and until this is received please treat it as a guideline.
